Graduated from Ekaterinburg  art college in 1984.
Graduated in Civil Engineering at Ural State University, Ekaterinburg, Russia  in 1988                   
Since 2005 Advanced Painting  Studies at Gallery Bohemiarte , Montreal

Born in  Russia, I have   been based in Montreal for  a decade. My work  focuses on the natural beauty of the human bodies. I work mostly in oils, because I love the sensual physical quality of the medium. Painting inspiration from the techniques of  the Old  Masters   and studies  at the  gallery  Bohemiarte taught me how to approach my painting in the same classic manner. Working with  portraits   brings out my own artistic representation of a person and allow me to share with the viewer an emotional message  that conveys the mood and creates a fresh look at the subject. I would like to finish my artist statement with words of  one of the  best-known artists in the Western world Leonardo da Vinci : The most praiseworthy form of painting Is the one that most resembles what it imitates.
